- Dating back to the 16th century, when sailors of the West Indies added Caribbean fruits and spices to their rum, calling it "Bumbu"
- Bumbu uses the finest sugarcane from locally sustainable farms selected from eight countries throughout the Caribbean and South America
- Our Rum is distilled using two continuous stills, at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893, whose traditional rum stills date back to 1840
- After the distillation and aging process, Bumbu is blended with all-natural native Caribbean ingredients, rested, blended again and finally bottled and corked
